Masopon

Having unique wetting, dispersing, detergency, solubilizing and emulsification properties, Masopon® products are unique multifunctional surfactants for use in wide range of products and applications such as Personal Care formulations, Liquid Detergents, Household and Industrial Cleaners - bottle washing, metal cleaners, paint strippers, glass cleaners, , and vehicle and hard surface cleaners. Masopon® products can be used as standalone surfactants or with amphoteric, nonionic, cationic and anionic surfactants.

Emulsion Polymerization

Pilot Chemical offers a wide range of specialty products for emulsion polymerization. These products include diphenyl oxide disulfonates, sulfonic acids, sodium sulfonates, alcohol sulfates and alcohol ether sulfates. Aristonic® Acid intermediates and neutralized Aristonates® are First-Intent water and oil soluble synthetic sulfonates used in; dispersants, detergents, emulsification, metal working, corrosion inhibition, lube oil additive, viscosity index improver, ore floatation, enhanced oil recovery, agriculture and industrial cleaning applications. Pilot Hosts First International Distributor Conference

Pilot Chemical hosted its first International Distributors’ Technical Conference in Bangkok, Thailand, on October 17th and 18th. Attending on behalf of Pilot were Business Director Dave Waizmann, and Corporate Technical Manager Rick Shook. The conference was a great opportunity for our international distributors to learn more about Pilot product lines.

Pilot also learned more about our distributors. Each distributor presented about their company, their unique international markets and applications and their suggestions for Pilot.

Pilot plans to hold similar distributor conferences in the future.

Pilot Chemical Named to the 2017 Deloitte Cincinnati USA 100

Pilot Chemical is proud to be ranked 35th on the 2017 Deloitte Cincinnati USA 100, a ranking of the largest privately owned companies in the Cincinnati area. The Deloitte 100 companies and their rankings were announced on October 8 in the Cincinnati Enquirer and on Cincinnati.com.

Pilot Chemical has been a part of the Greater Cincinnati area for more than 50 years. The company opened its two Cincinnati-area plants in Lockland and Middletown in 1964 and 1985, respectively.  Pilot moved its headquarters to Sharonville, in 2005.

Pilot Chemical Joins the American Society for Quality

This week Pilot Chemical joined the American Society for Quality (ASQ). With this membership, Pilot further strengthens its commitment to service and product quality. Pilot employees will now have the opportunity to sign up on ASQ’s website to join in discussions about new ideas and tools to improve the workplace. They will also be able to stay informed about areas of interest to our ISO-certified and quality-minded customers and suppliers.
